Six Levels Service Guide

6 Unique Levels of Service for Maximum Flexibility

Each level of service may be customized to meet your specific needs. Levels 5 and 6 are part of our ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Service Program. Click here for an overview.

Level 1

Generally used by labs engaged in teaching and research at the university level. More

Level 2

For labs that require basic calibration documentation but not individual performance data for each instrument serviced. More

Level 3

Most often used by private and public labs doing supportive research, often by contract, and those regulated by the FDA, CLIA, CAP or other regulatory body. These labs require documented As Left data only. Level 3 calibration certificates document the environmental conditions, provide a statistical analysis of the instrument's performance, and the final pass/fail status expressed in terms of imprecision and inaccuracy. Level 3 is used by labs that require certification but not measurement uncertainty data for each instrument's calibration event. More

Level 4

For labs operating in a regulated environment, typically in clinical trials, forensics or pharmaceutical research, QA studies, or Quality Control and manufacturing. At Level 4, customers receive an As-Found and an As-Left  calibration certificate for each instrument calibrated. Calibration certificates document the environmental conditions, provide a statistical analysis of the instrument's performance, and the final pass/fail status expressed in terms of imprecision and inaccuracy. Level 4 is used by many labs that require certification but not measurement uncertainty for each instrument calibrated. More

Level 5

An ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited service for laboratories that require ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration and As-Left data only. Level 5 calibration certificates document the environmental conditions present at the time of calibration and provide a statistical analysis of the instrument's performance, the process uncertainty associated with the calibration, and the final pass/fail status expressed in terms of imprecision, inaccuracy and K=2 confidence interval. More

Level 6

An ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited service for labs that require ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration and both As-Found and As-Left data. At Level 6, customers receive an As-Found and an As-Left calibration certificate for each instrument calibrated. Calibration certificates document the environmental conditions present at the time of calibration and provide a statistical analysis of the instrument's performance, the process uncertainty associated with the calibration, and the final pass/fail status expressed in terms of imprecision, inaccuracy, and K=2 confidence interval. More
