Our accrediting body, A2LA, is a Mutual Recognition Partner to the following organizations:
- Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC)
- European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA)

These Mutual Recognition Partner arrangements facilitate the acceptance of test and calibration data between A2LA-accredited laboratories as well as other countries and economies. A2LA will testify to the competence of each accreditation system with whom it has a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) and will guarantee that they follow the recognized norm for operating such systems. Partners must also use ISO/IEC 17025 as the basis for the accreditation of laboratories. All of the aforementioned accrediting bodies accept A2LA accreditation as if they had performed the audit and conferred the accreditation themselves.
