ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Accreditation
ISO 17025 Accreditation Ensures Technical Competence
Calibrate, Inc. understands how important it is to have confidence in your calibration laboratory. That's why we're ISO 17025:2005 Accredited. You can rest assured knowing that our Quality Assurance System and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been thoroughly evaluated and approved by a third party. Calibrate, Inc. underwent its fifth audit by A2LA in 2012 and earned its current Certificate of Accreditation, good through March 31, 2014.
A2LA, our accreditation body, is a signatory to the ILAC MRA, meaning that our accreditation and the test results we present you with are valid in an international community. Learn more about the ILAC MRA and ISO 17025 by clicking here, or download a copy of our current letter and scope of accreditation.
ISO 17025 is in close agreement with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Requirements. This new edition results from the amendment of ISO/IEC 17025:1999, which ensures its compatibility with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems Requirements. We are proud to announce that we've recently added accreditation to ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and ANSI/NCSLI Z540.3-2006.
Our Accreditation Benefits You Even if You Don't Need Accredited Services
Because accredited calibration companies must conduct a thorough contract review with their clients to determine specifications, tolerances, calibration intervals, and a host of other customer-centered activities, clients of ISO 17025 calibration vendors are assured that calibration data meets their identified specifications and will hold up under close scrutiny.
