Bike 4 Breath
Calibrate, Inc. contributed to InterMune's fundraising efforts for Bike 4 Breath, a charity bicycle ride hosted by Breathe California, an organization that raises money to promote lung health and prevent lung disease. This year, InterMune set a fundraising goal of $50,000 and exceeded their goal with a total of $56,076.00 and still counting! InterMune had employees participating in the ride, volunteering and collecting donations.

The race took place on Saturday, July 10. 140 volunteers helped on the day of the event, 611 riders registered, and 560 actually rode. The event raised $159,000 and this number is still rising! The Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) National Medical Laboratory Week took place April 18 - 24, 2010. As a leading provider of pipette calibration and repair services for eastern Canada, Calibrate recognizes the dedication medical laboratory professionals have in ensuring proper patient health through accurate laboratory testing. These professionals make a difference in Canada's health care system in the areas of prenatal testing, biopsy and blood testing.
